How Elysian works, from a launch to a locked pool, in plain words.
Elysian is a fair-launch meme coin launchpad on Elysium, Kinetiq's chain for the Hyperliquid ecosystem: an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles to HyperEVM, with HYPE as its gas. Anyone can launch a token in one transaction, and it can be traded from the moment it exists.
Yes. This site runs Elysian on Elysium mainnet, where HYPE is real. Meme tokens are speculative by design and most lose value, a confirmed trade cannot be reversed, and nothing on this site is financial advice.
Elysium mainnet has no faucet: its HYPE is real, so your wallet needs HYPE on Elysium mainnet before you trade or launch. Then connect it here: the site asks it to switch to Elysium mainnet, or to add the network if it does not know it yet.
No. Connect a wallet and trade: every transaction is signed by your own wallet, and the site holds no keys. Uploading token artwork, claiming a handle and commenting also ask you to sign in by signing a message, which is not a transaction and costs nothing.
Open Launch token, give it a name and a ticker (artwork is optional) and sign one transaction. You can make the first buy in that same transaction.
A token's whole supply is minted once, straight into its bonding curve, and can never grow. There is no presale and no team allocation: the creator's first buy pays the curve's price like anyone else's, up to a cap.
For its first two blocks a launch is protected. The launch block is kept for the creator's own first buy, and in the next block no wallet may hold more than 5% of the supply. Then every limit lifts. This slows a simple sniper bot; it is not a guarantee.
By a bonding curve written into the token's contract: every buy raises the price and every sell lowers it. Before you sign, the trade panel shows what you will get, and it stops the trade if the price moves past your slippage tolerance.
Every buy and sell pays a platform share and a creator-directed share. When a token launches, its creator splits that share between four uses: the creator, Buyback & Burn, holder rewards and LP Support. The split is written into the token's contracts and nobody can change it afterwards. The contracts cap the two together at 2% of a trade, and the trade panel shows what you will receive, from a quote, before you sign.
A token's platform share is fixed when the token launches. After graduation every swap on its pool pays that same platform share and the same split on its HYPE side, through any router, and the pool charges no trading fee of its own. Neither can be changed for that token afterwards: a change to the platform share applies only to tokens launched after it. The current rates are on the terms page, read from the contracts, and every token page shows its own.
Creator: paid into the token's own fee vault, which keeps the launcher's share off the top and pays the rest to the people the launcher named (the launcher alone unless they named someone); each claims it as HYPE, the launcher from Creator rewards. Buyback & Burn: inside the same trade it buys the token and sends it to a burn address no one controls. Holder rewards: paid in HYPE to every holder in proportion to their balance, claimed on the token page. LP Support: before graduation it is kept for the pool up to a cap, past which it buys back and burns instead; after graduation it is added to the token's locked pool position.
If a token's creator chose holder rewards, part of every trade's fee on that token is paid in HYPE to its holders, in proportion to how much each holds at that moment. The curve, the pool and the burn address hold tokens too but earn nothing. What you earn stays yours to claim on the token page, even after you sell.
A guardian can pause new launches and new buys on the curves in an emergency. Selling on a curve, withdrawing creator fees, claiming holder rewards and swapping in a graduated token's pool can never be paused.
When the HYPE in a token's curve reaches its graduation threshold, shown on every token page, the buy that gets it there moves the token into a Uniswap V4 pool in the same transaction. Trading carries on from the same page.
Progress counts the HYPE actually in the curve. A sell takes its HYPE back out. A token's Buyback & Burn share stays in the curve, so trading the same tokens back and forth moves progress because of that share (by less than it when you buy first and sell back, by more when you sell first and buy back), and doing so always costs more than simply buying.
It is locked forever. The pool position is held by the pool's own contract, which has no way to move, burn or reduce it, and no key can change that, the admin's included. The tokens the pool does not need are burned, so the move to the pool does not move the price.
Every token on its curve shows how close it is to the champion's bar, a level of graduation progress. The newest token to reach that bar becomes the champion and wears the crown, at the top of the home page and on its own card and page, until a newer one reaches the bar or it graduates. A price drop does not take the crown away.
The Creator part of the split they chose, from none to all of the creator-directed share, on every buy and sell on the curve and on every swap in its pool after graduation. A token launched here pays it into its own fee vault, which keeps the launcher's share off the top and pays the rest to the people the launcher named, the launcher alone unless they named someone. Each of them can claim it as HYPE at any time, the launcher from Creator rewards.
Yes. At launch, a launcher can name up to 100 people by their X or GitHub account, an Elysian handle or a wallet, each with a share of what the launcher's own share leaves. A named X or GitHub account gets a wallet made for it in advance, so nobody has to sign up first. The launcher is the token's fee admin: they can change the list later from the token page, hand the role to someone else or give it up for good. A change applies from then on; nothing anyone already earned moves.
Being named does not mean the person endorses the token: anyone can be named.
Log in on Claim your fees with the X or GitHub account the launcher named. The fees wait in the wallet made for that account, and from there you can claim them, send the HYPE to another wallet or export the wallet's key. If that wallet holds no HYPE yet to pay for the claim, send the claim from any wallet you already use: the fees are still paid to the named account's wallet.
A wallet the platform has approved, such as an app that launches tokens for its users. A launch through this site can name one, once, as it launches, and nobody can change that token's partner afterwards. The partner earns part of the platform's fee on that token: the platform share under 'What are the fees?', which its trades pay on its curve and, after graduation, through its pool's router. It never includes the pool's own trading fee, and it never comes out of the Creator part. The partner keeps the rate it was approved at when the token launched.
Nothing can remove a token from the chain. A token that breaks the rules can be hidden from the listings and search on this site; its page still opens from a direct link, and trading it works as before.
